These are just some of my methods for base penetration on QS. Please feel free to add your own and suggest fine tuning.

1) SM: First squad of scouts run straight into their base and by the time your scouts arrive you have stealth researched. You use it and hide them away for future use in thier base, this way a leader (only units that can see them) can't be researched in time to see them enter, provided you avoid detection in the mean time, you have Deep Strike in the sweatest of places. When taking on Eldar attach leader to every Termie squad so the shroud problem disappears. N.B. Termies arrive Before the last "AnnilateTheEnemy aspect" from the SoulShrine finishes. If you can identify it's location and take it out before that finishes then the game is almost yours, because a rebuild and a retech take forever during which time they have no Prisms, Avitar. Massing jump packers and attacking over rivers/walls (using jump) cracks bases and tends to put people off guard. Particually as this tends to be early and tech-ing is still in progress so hitting a soul shrine/ Armory etc REALLY hurts. 2) CSM: a= Similar to SM but make sure you re-enforce your obliterators before deep striking, they have a slow reload time but KILL when fireing, so re-enforced before sending is the best idea, if you have the time to spare. b= Penetrate their base after you have stealth and your leader (who can also stealth). Particually with Eldar (they have no idea you're there, you see everything). Getting in to their base is the hard part here if they have turrets and a leader guarding, but chances are one of the three / four players has forgot so get in there and go round the back to where ever you want. c= Obviously, if you have him, then spown your BloodThurster in base when nothing / less is around, particually with Obliterator deep-strike backup, good bye base. 3) Eldar Prism Tank Jump / Warp Spider Teleport, Banshees with Fleet of Foot, Warp Spider Haywire Granades and Relocate main base to random location for safety (it's free once you have the aspect). BUT, nothing compares to teleporting in a BoneSinger and building a WebwayGate. Now most SM players leave leaders around the place because of the danger and because they have so many leaders. So I normally teleport into Ork, CSM, Eldar or IG bases. If you have no choice use all four builders at once and the Apocathary takes ages to kill them, long enough for you to build a WebwayGate, once the gate is built the contents can easly take out the leader. With a WebwayGate the real choices arrive: a= Relocate in: Turrets, SupportPortal, Other Webways, etc b= Empty out troops, particually FireDragons, that slap buildings into the next room, remember your farseer / seer council if it's Eldar. Take out the important buildings, like SoulShrines, Armourys, OrbitalRelays etc etc. Take points if your force contains scouts, gardians etc. Anyway, I'll finish the list next time, stuff like this, particually fine tuning these methods!

Unfortunatly quickstart sucks.

I dare say this is moot.

I think that's slightly wrong, I play Standard and Quick Start and both have alot to offer. I find some (but thank goodness not most) players miss the point with Quick Start. It is supossed to open new doors for tactics etc. Anyway, this thread is about players who have a big enough brain to think about Base Penetration methods, not how good Quick Start is. These tactics are just as valid in most Standard games.

Remember to run your obliterators for the autocannon otherwise they do not do as much damage. Also do not forget to upgrade your troops. And quickstart is just clicking really fast and you know it

Yeh i tried a quick start and ended up in a battle that niether side was winning. I prefferre to make a strong hold around my base not just build and send the troops that's pointless really. I like backup.

Qs is a totally different game, it's all about using your max army to best effect, overwatch into oe area doesn't work against me. If you have XFire, MSN or Skype, PM me and I'll show you want I mean. Your problem is your late game skills are not as developed because when we all play Standard we rarely get far enough to play with full armies. BUT IT HAPPENS! Anyway, Talk about the tactics, not QS!
