Is an eldar army (DoW not TT) which includes units of all or most castes better than an eldar army which includes 1 or 2 castes, assuming the same ability in micromanagement? I see people spamming Warp Spiders and I'm like, WTF? That's not eldar... :o
One would think that an army with a little bit of everything would be able to handle most threats, but the question is would it handle them fast enough?
the reason why ppl use warp spiders is becouse (in my opinion) the eldar infantry unit
yeah, warp spiders are really strong in both range and cc, and are almost overpowering in massed force.
warp spiders are the average at both cc + ranged, howling banshees (or seer council) at just close combat and darkreaper and fire dragons are best at ranged. oh , and theyre not casts there called aspects, castes are for tau
A fully upgraded warp spider army will annhilate most infantry and most vehicals with there bombs. With prisms going around + avatar and warp spiders guarding your base you are basicly invincible.

Translation: Yes, you're right - I was acting like a new player.
I personnaly build a webway gate in the back of my opponents base fill it up with one kind of unit and use trial and error to find out which kills them eg. warp spiders get annilated by ork in close combat so i send howling banshees and they annilate the orks
If you let orks get in close combat with warp spiders then your doing something wrong.
