I dont know but i think the imperial gaurd turrets suck and there isnt enough infantry to put in your infantry commands so i came up with this just as a cool little idea 1. Once you put impieral gaurd in a building they cant come out 2. But when you put them in there they dont count against your pop 3. there guns may be a bit less effective 4. depending on what troops you put in there it depends on what you fire out, for instance karskins fire bolters plasma and las guns while regular gaurds men only fire las guns that are weak and orgryns fire ripper guns and bolters out of it. your command squad once but in if it has physkers that once and a while shoot lightning arcs or suck the soul out of people. it may seem a bit over powerd but so is massing heavy bolter turrets i think this is a good idea since they took up a big space but have good fire power, i think it balances it out.

No they need that space for mobility that would be horribly overpowered seeing as how you could have over a thousand imperal guard all over the map turreting is not over powered ^_^ Sorry :(

I don't find Imperial Guard all that good, it was said they would be good for slow starters, well, whenever i start on SKirmish with Imperial Guard i end up getting attacked by a few squads and a commander unit, then usually loose.

opposite problem with me, can somebody tell me why the f**K u can have 4 squads of scouts verses 1 imperial guard squad of 4 with a commisar and loose at shooting and cc, when on the table top game this would be alot different.

uh you mean the sea of turrets that can take out bloodthirster and the bloodthirster can only kill like 3? yeah turreting is overpowerd and you can still transport guys around

No offence but if you think turrets suck and are overpowered you are not very good. Get a command squad with all priests and commisonars and u can counter any rush or just run into your buildings and let them fire the laser rifles+ plasma + back up lasers.

The IG suck soooooooo bad in close combat! there is usaly no why you are going to win on the table top in close combat. I love the IG there tanks are the best in the game and they just overwhelm you with untis ( at least on the table top) i havent played them yet in Winter Assault.

You people know very little attach a commisonar for the healing + unbrakeable and you will see why they are one of the best.

yea i agree with that, soem dude did an ig rush on me in a multiplayer game the other day with commisars in amongst them and the braught down 2 marine squads fully kitted..........
