OOOOOOOOOOOO K,

here we go!

I've played Heroes: DOW roleplaying.. superb addon, meaning its an option in skirmish parameters and compatible with just about anything.

I have also played Left out units mod, true meaning of war mod and skirmish AI mod has also caught my attention.

So with that being said.... is there a way to run multiple mods at the same time?

What i would like to see, actually, is to play skrimish AI and other mods at the same time. but as far as I know, you can't run more than one mod at the same time.

I'm sure there is something that can be done in the command string for DOWWA.exe

Please help..

you could combine them together so thats you can have them in 1 game at once but you ar not allows to give it to the public unless u have permission im not sure how to put them together but it can be done

Edit a MOD file to include all the mods you want in the Required Mod lines. For example:

UIName = My mod Description = Example DllName = WXPMod ModFolder = Mod 1 ModVersion = 0.1 TextureFE = Art/UI/Textures/My_Mod.tga

DataFolder.1 = Data

RequiredMod.1 = Mod 2 RequiredMod.2 = WXP RequiredMod.3 = W40k

Mod 1/2 means one of the mods.

well its loads without crashing, but im sure it will work fine.

after realizing the the RequiredMod line points to a module inside dow folder, i simply added another required mod line and it seems to work.

The main thing I like about Heores: Roleplaying addon is that your infantry and vechiles actually gain combat experience and become stronger and more powerful as long as you keep them alive. Also a lot of features are done for you, like unit specials (reinforcement, throwing nades, orbital strike, morale boost, etc) to name a few. Here’s an intresting scenario based on Heroes capabilities: I was doing a 1v1 on a 6 player map/left out units mod/annil/SM/insane vs random and made a bolter/anti armor squad with artillery support holding one of my flanks until amor reinforcement arrived. This location was key as I was holding it for a massive deployment of armor and artillery. And based on the countless waves of attacks in this zone in particular, it seemed that AI wanted it just a bad as I did. I was under seige for a few hours and many troopers fell to enemy fire trying to hold this flank, but this squad in particular was when the tides were truning and we were gaining ground and holding it. Hvy infantry and artillery can only do so much, so I needed armor support on this flank A.S.A.P. And before armor could be created, I had to dispatch another taskforce to take and hold strat points to keep resources flowing in all at the same time. This bolter/anti armor squad, came under various kinds of attack and gained a great deal of experience or 'levels' if you will. Attacks varied from enemy artillery, to melee, sniper, armor, anti-personnel, even hvy infantry w armor escort... And eventhough some of the squad fell to enemy fire, those who survived gained more experience at the same time gave new recruits(heroes has auto overwatch for infantry) a chance to gain exp and grow stronger as well. Right before armor support could arrive I lost this squad due to an coordinated attack(AI) by a breif softening up of my main defenses, long enough to take out my artillery, followed by a push of several units of armor into that flanking position. I lost a lot of good troopers and artillery trying to hold that flanking position, and that's just stock AI on dow:wa. So now that I know how to run multiple mods at the same time, I’m hoping skirmish AI would prove to be an interesting experience. Heck, now that I think about it, I could add any other mod as playable race into the fray :) P.S. Try spacehulk 2 on insane/heroes roleplaying it's great
