I just want to know your thoughts on the following subjects regarding orks:
-the possibility for orks to produce more infantry units (about 130 instead of the usual 100 models)
-Ork Killa Kans s take 2 Vehicle points instead of 4
- the possibility to build Nob squads with the power claw included, instead of having to build power claws seperately
- the size of the ork mobs effects their morale (the bigger they are, the harder they break)
If you have some thought about ork, please let them know. Thanks
thats actually a pretty good idea. except for the killa kan. that would be a horrible idea. it would make them unstopable. but if the nobs start out with power klaws, then they shouldnt be able to have such large squads.
yah make killas about a 3 because then they still get 6 thats 1 extra then from 4 and if they all get poer claws then they should just lower the dmg mabye or somthinf
i hate killa kans mainly because thats all the computer builds and keeps sending them in so you have to shoot them before they get into combat with you.
Maybie resurrect weapons as the shokk attack gun or the elevator kannon...Why not putting a weirdboy or two?
wyrd boys dont apear passed the feral stage but the great goff warleader had a couple i believe killa kans would pwn all nobs would pwn all but i like the 130 unit cap and the moral thing
The idea about how big the mob is is pretty awesome, even though it should be really hard to affect ork morale.
the morale goes down too fast for orks which seem to me, they r pretty weak for a race who love chopping in DoW. Reason i dont play as them at all, plus the pop cap should be higher too, i agree, another reason i dont play as them, 100 is too low.
I agree.. ork pop should be in the range of 120 to 130. And kans should be 3 not 2 (certainly not 4!), if they were 2 it would be too many. The moral idea is good too since orks aren't that tough in terms of HP (except for Nobs and heros) and it fits in with their general behaviour (and mythology): the bigger the mob the less likely they run away. But I think Nobs should stay the way they are, poweklaws are too strong to have that early and they pierce mech armour (and they beat terminators!), but orks still need a decent melee unit mid-game that wont be overpowered. Unless once you get an orky fort the powerklaws come with nobs that way... then that would be fair.
in DC i think that ther will be just one upgrade that will equip all nobs with power claws
