Hey every one! I just wanted to share in a couple of sentences what took me almost a whole day to figure out. The original BF1942, expansions and popular mods run really good on my computer. I have spent countless hours trying to squeeze out any extra juice I can from it. When I first ran BFV it was terrible. I couldnt believe that with my system it would be so shitty. I actually refused to accept it and I began my quest for FPS on BFV. To make a long story shorter, I some how adjusted my "Z-BUFFER" to 8-BIT. The error log in the root folder told me that my video card didnt support D3D T&L and performance would be terrible and they were right! So I went to a con. file in the C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam\Mods\BfVietnam\settings\Default\Video Custom" folder and first changed the buffer to 24, it worked better and then to 32 which was the same as 24. The varibles look like this in the folder. rem *** Video Performance Custom ***

game.setGameDisplayMode 800 600 32 32

game.setDetailTexture 3

game.setShadows 1

game.setGraphicsQuality 4

game.setLightmaps 1

game.setGeometryQuality 2

game.setGammaFactor 0

game.setContrastFactor 0 At the top --- 800 600 32 32 is the line that you can check. The 800 600 is the resolution. The first 32 is the BPP coulor depth and the second 32 is the Z-buffer depth. If you have lower than 24 for the Z-buffer you may consider editting it 24 or 32. Make sure that you 'save' and or 'apply' the new settings. If you dont that con. file will revert to the other settings and your game will play shitty again. game.setBrightnessFactor 0
