Hey all - I just wrote this FAQ about the music in BFV. Hopefully it answers all the game-related questions. If you can think of more to add, let me know and I'll update it.

Good job Padre. Except if you didn't pre-order the game like me you can get the songs one of two ways. If you download Bink (do a google search for it) and find the location of the songs in your BFV directory, you can convert them to WAV files. There is your CD without paying any cash...

Or you can download it off of www.bfvfiles.com

www.radgametools.com is the place to get Bink. No need to Google. In fact if you want to be direct about it... http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm And you're right, you can rip them from the game but the quality of the soundfiles are not 100% CD quality. If you don't care about such things, rip away. Personally I ripped a few of the tracks that weren't on the OST and they don't sound any different to me, but someone out there might disagree.

many artists have re-done 'I Fought The Law' including Green Day (who i found have the only song close to as good as Bobby Fuller Four's)

Located where? In-Game? If you are in a vehicle it's selection O.

GuineaPigi thought 'I Fought the Law' was by The Clash, not Bobby Fuller Four

This is a common misconception since the song was covered by many punk bands including The Clash and most recently Green Day (as noted above, though I was aware of it before reading that :) ). The song was originally written in 1965 by Sonny Curtis - former guitarist for Buddy Holly who moved on to the Bobby Fuller Four after Holly's death. They recorded their only album "I Fought The Law" and released it in January of 1966. The title track was their only top ten hit. Lead singer Bobby Fuller was found dead in a car parked outside his apartment in July of that same year. His death was quite suspicious, indicating it was an organized crime murder.
