According to the read-me, if you go to your BFV install folder (C:\Program Files\EA\Battlefield Vietnam\), you should see a folder called "My Music". Simply put MP3 audio files into the folder and the default music list will be replaced by whatever songs you put in the folder...although other players will NOT hear your songs, they will still hear the default music. Only YOU will hear your songs. HOWEVER, this feature does not seem to be working. I've tried this, and I can start the game...but whenever I try to connect to a server the game crashes. I don't know if anyone has been successful with this, but as of now (v1.0) this feature is not working.

No, you don't need an MP3 player. You just need MP3 files.

Simply put the Mp3 files in the "My Music" folder in the Battlefield Vietnam install dir. But like I said, this doesn't work right now and it crashes the game... It's DICE's fault for releasing it with a bug. Hopefully they fix it soon.
