Hello ppl :) I have a problem...before today i had the beta version of BF vietnam on my pc, but today i finally chose to buy the real game.. But my problem is that i cant remove the old programme 100%...when i go to add/remove programs it still stays there, and for some strange reason it says the programme only uses 1.37 mb of space...:( ive tried just about everything..going to c:/eagames anf removing the whole bfvietnam directory, ive removed it from the start menu..and ive tried all those things in the regedit programme...but still...if i put in my new bfvietnam cd..the only option i have is to uninstall the old version..and i choose to do so, it will say the same next time i put in the cd.... strange really....anyone that can help me?
beta version? tsk tsk tsk
tsk tsk...?? what.i had a friend over some day who installed it..no problem really..as long as i buy the whole game
You will need to remove all registry entries and rety the install. I didn't have much luck and got fed up with removing the "beta" so i just reformatted :) fresh install of retail and I haven't looked back yet. But get yourself a registry cleaner and remove all bfv entries and play around with that.
man why did u even buy in the first place just get the game... u got it in time cuz eagames cut the production off battlefiled vietnam...:'( (meaning they wont make it ne more, or at least for a while to do adjustments)
Does anyone have a link to an official statement by EA saying they are stopping production of BFV?? I've not heard anything but a few april fools jokes.
Yea I';d like to see a link myself. There is nothing about this on the EA site. You'd think there would be if they were going to stop production.
OMG that was an april fools joke on bffiles hahaha please please dont believe everything you hear. beta version or downloaded off a dodgy site version?
have a link
edited to add link for silly people
