Same problem here, everything worked fine for a long time. Now I can run everything but the game, it tells me I have the inccorect CD in. As far as I know I don't have any virtual drives or clone drives. I've tried all discs in all optical drives and then I uninstalled, reinstalled still the same problem.

Could this have something to do with new CD/DVD burning software I installed? I put NERO and ALCOHOL 120% on....

Can other CD's work with the CD drives? If Yes there could be a disk drive driver. Or just get a new CD-Rom Drive. Maybe you dident even add the hard ware yet.

OK,a program called ALCOHOL for burning DVD/CDRs. I uninstalled it, and boom, my problem went away.

I had this same problem with my game over the summer. If you have a nVidia motherboard and installed it's SW drivers then that is probably your problem. I installed them and my game worked at first and then it just stopped. So uninstall the SW drivers if you have those and it should work.

Try changing your DMA settings for you CD drive. Some games I have wont run if my CD drive is set to UDMA ( 33/66/MW-DMA ). Try puting it to PIO mode. You will have to restart your system after that.

What does SW stand for? I have a Nvida chipset and would like to know what you are talking about.
