AMD 2800+ ATI 9800 RPO 128mb ABIT NF7-S MB 1 GIG Corsair XMS DDR 3200 TWINX Audigy2 Gamer Z Sound card.

With settings maxed, it's choppy at points. Graphics are nice. Guns are cool. Have not tried the helis yet. With settings MED, it's playable. I have not played it intensly yet, just messing round with single player. I lag out in the jet while dive bombing enemy tho. and crash! Don't know if it's me or a bug. need more time to test...report back later.....

Intel P-II 400Mhz NVIDIA TNT2 16MB 64MB SDRAM Soundblaster-16

With settings maxed, it runs like a DREAM!!!! *NoOdLe begins crying... Actually I don't know, here at Alfred U, the mailroom closes at 4:30 pm, and they delivered it at 4:30, so I can't pick it up until tomorrow morning :( It is the worse kind of torture to know its less than 2 ft away, yet so far away. I will tell you tomorrow how it runs on my machine.

Intel P4 2.6C @ 3.25Ghz GeForce FX5900NU 128Mb (Bios Flashed to 5950U) 512Mb Corsair PC3500 Santa Cruz w/EAX Playing in 1280x960 Details Med/High FPS meter shows me getting triple digits but when I go near a vehicle or move quickly or zoom in it goes into LOW double digits... I don't understand this :( Sudden slow downs make it really choppy. Anyway of turning on Vsync for this game to stop the sudden fps drops? 200 to 40 really jerks :( I was expecting better and smoother performance with this game. It's not that much better looking than BF but plays noticably worse. GREAT LOOKING game tho, pickin up Tanks with a Heli owns!

I'm running BF 1942 and D.C. right now on a three year old Dell 8100. I get good gameplay on most servers with everything set medium. High detail makes me a little laggy until a map is played for a few minutes or so. I've got a 1.7Gig P4, 384 of RDRAM, and a GeForce FX 5600 256mb video card. The extra 256 of RAM and video card were added last spring. I haven't played BFNam, but I have a copy reserved :nodding: For all you guys that are real into the performance tweaking, would it be a real gain by me adding another 128 of RAM to the system? I don't mind adding it, but if it's not going to give me any enhancement then why bother. My motherboard will only handle up to 512mb, and I was planning on holding off on a new PC until next year. I could do it this year, but I have a few real guns I wanna pick up first :naughty:

adding more memory is a good start. This game is a pig. I am going to build a new system just for this.

right from the read me:

hmmm, sounds very hard to believe with your set up. Have you tried online? You must have one magic system there ;)
