Athalon XP3000+ @ 400mhz FSB 1 gig DDR 2800 ram (512x512 dual channel) SB Audigy 2 ZS PCI card Nforce2 Chipset (Gigabyte GA7n400 board) Radeon 9700 Pro 128 @ 8x AGP (Omega Drivers, ver 2.5.36a) Windows XP Pro, tweaked for gaming. --------------------------------------------------- Settings..

FSAA - 2x (any less looks horrible) Anisotropy - App Preference Vsynch off

All graphics on Medium. Sound on Low. 1024x760x32@85hz

Runs poorly, considering my system. It should run a LOT faster then it does. I hope DICE gets a patch out soon.

BeeF FlaPsadding more memory is a good start. This game is a pig. I am going to build a new system just for this.

right from the read me:

Recommended for optimum performance: 2.0 Ghz CPU Directx 9.0b Geforce 4 128 MB (Not MX) or equivalent DirectX9 compatible videocard 512 Megabytes of RAM 2 GB free hard drive space (additional space required for Windows swap-file and DirectX 9.0b installation) 16x CD-ROM drive Directx 9.0b Compatible Sound Card MS compatible mouse Keyboard

Woooot??? I have a P4 2.53 Ghz with a Geforce FX 5200...but the game runs bad, even if I play in 800x600x16...I have the drivers from the CD..Please help! (ps original battlefield runs smooth)

 I just want my game to run at 60 fps not 20 My BF 1942 runs at 60 fps. The system specs on the box of BFV are full of crap. I have a p4 @ 2.6 ,768MB of ram ,and a 128 bit Nvidia Fx 5200 graphics card. I run the game with medium textures and the lowest graphics. I play at 1024 by 768 resolution. But I still play at 30 fps but at moments it gets down to 20 frames per second. I have BF 1942 and it runs at 60 fps at full graphics even in DC. I dont understand why BFV is such a computer sucking vampire. The only difference between BF 1942 and BFV is BFV has a bunch of 2d panels with grass and plant textures on them. Why does the game run like this? is their somthing wrong with my computer? my specs seem reall good compared to other peoples posts

I have similar system to you and get about 50fps, i had to turn down A/A and A/F (which are normally on 4) and that enabled me to turn the rest of the ingame stuff to max.

I also turned sound quality down to Miles 2D to free some RAM which had the added bonus of actually improving the sound.

P4 2.4 FX 5200 ULTRA 128MB 512 MB PC2700 5.1 LIVE blah blah blah all the newest drivers
