i love ut2004.. good game, but, for onslaught (hopefully game creators are listening to this, and can make a patch for this) the game scores only counts the amount of kills.. i think it should ALSO count up the amount of building u have done to a base NODE.. like for every 2 seconds u build the node, you get 1 point, so you know who has contributed to the building of nodes the most and not just who killed the most people, i think adding that score category would well suit the onslaught game mode, cuz onslaught is more than just who killed the most people, any of you agree?

with onslaught, the build points and kills is both important, cuz counting kills in onslaught doesnt matter 100%, other factor of judging a persons skills in onslaught is how much he had to do with the building of bases. cuz counting final scores, thats cool that he got 100 kills, but how much did he have to do with the building of bases? which is a key factor in onslaught.. gimme feedback, thanx, l8r.

The folks at Epic don't come here, but if you want to make your voice heard to them, try www.ataricommunity.com That's a good idea for scoring, but it could easily be abused... someone could build up a really high score just by constantly repairing the node as the enemy damages it. They wouldn't be doing much good for the team, as in that circumstance it's a much better idea to kill the attacker before repairing the node- but your scoring system wouldn't encourage it. Actually Onslaught scores aren't just based on kills: press F3 in-game and you'll see that your score is quite a lot higher than your number of kills. I'm not sure of exactly what adds to your score, but if you're a good Onslaught player, your score will be rewarded for it.

half of onslaught is who built the most (which is how u win) so counting that is important, cuz its a big part of onslaught, and when i win, you wanna know who had the most to do with building bases, cuz thats how u won in the first place

Yeah i totally agree, but i really think that its not abuse. Nothing is abuse in ut2004, unless you hack. I think this is a good idea.
