I'd go to ut2003hq.com, and download the version 2199 update, the DE and Epic Bonus Packs, and then DL their Mappacks 1-4 (you have to get 5 from aomeone). I guess I'd also get the other map packs too (DeadCat, TaskMastersTomb, etc.)

For mutator, you really only need to install what you'll play by yourself. I like AnalyzeFPS, InstaGibBoost (original LGI like in UT), InstaVape (I just think it's funny), and get a good Cache tool (I overwhelmingly prefer MM 1.4.1 (mmsetup-1.4.1.zip). It works for both UT & UT2003, and works great!)

Anything else you can DL from the servers that you login to, and then use MapManager to install (convert) it.

I hope that this helps buddy!

Frag like an Olympion...with honor!

Hi,

u can get maps pack 5 from ut2003hq.com

I've done it. my download did crash the first two times, so be paitient and keep trying.

When u have patched your ut2003 out and got all the maps and muts u want, i recommend making a copy and storing it; should you get buggy corrupt files downloaded that suddenly prevent u from playing on a map u could previously get on to, all u now need do is use your copy!!

So first rename your ut2003 file (right click) and call it what u want. Now, copy it somewhere. Now remame your original file back to ut2003 (so u can play).

You can every so often update your copy, by making another.

I have two 80Gb hard drives and this gives me loads of capacity. Think about this. Use defrag and disk cleanup.

Also, for a good frag rate, overclock your graphics card and set all ut2003 display settings to normal, turn off most (especailly foliage) extras. This well help.

Best, though, for a great frag rate is to practice your ass off.

All the best,

TT
