Greetings, Although I have been playing UT2K3 for a while. I have _not_ spent a lot of time on what I would consider to be the fundamentals of the game. To me, wall jumping is a fundamental. I only haphazardly discovered it when I asked someone how on earth they managed to get from one platform to another. He explained it, as follows: move along a wall, relatively parallel to it, jump, dodge in the opposite direction of the wall, then jump again - this seems to have a cumulative effect. I've done it a few times, but not predictably or reliably. I am wondering if anyone out there has a better way of describing how and why it works, such that I can get away from understanding examples of it, and understanding the "how" behind it. Thanks, sWitch

muhaha! theres more! the "boost jump" has 2 variants, type 1 is a tap jump tap jump, which is the distance version of the boost where the boost off the wall happens at the 2nd tap and the last jump is actually a double jump, adding the distance part. face a wall at an about 45 degree angle and move foreward (or whichever direction it may be) into the wall so u slide along it. then tap in the direction (if you're sliding along the wall foreward and the wall is to your right, tap left), jump, tap again which will get you airborne, then jump at the apex of the boost. also, remember that you can do the first tap, jump before you hit the wall, but just make sure that the 2nd tap is done while you are on the wall. AND! go into the input settings and set your DOUBLE-TAP TIME to 0.40, that should help. the 2nd type is the one mentioned before, jump tap jump tap, and is the height variant. it really is that simple, just keep trying type #1: tap, jump, tap, double-jump type #2: jump, tap, jump, tap LET THERE BE NO MORE CONFUSION!
