Just post here what links you have to good TCs and WADs for Doom 1-2. Here a few:

JDoom

Risen 3D

Doom Resurrection (Work in Progress, not much there)

Doom Legacy

ZDoom

Boom Engine

That's all I can think of for now that I've personally checked out. I may post more later.

Thanks Majic, I was going to hyperlink them, but I didn't know how  . I'll post more later as I find them... If you want to actually see some information of the Doom Resurrection TC (I'm looking forward to it), just go to their forums. I'd say their about 15%-25% done.

Have a few more links:

JDoom Add Ons (WADS):

JDoom Resource Pack

Several Alternative Add Ons

Doom 2 Retuexturing Project (Warning: Huge Download)

Other TCs:

Doom 64 TC

Alien Vendetta

Miscallaneous:

Sycraft's Doom Musictracks

That's it for now, I personally recommend the combination of Jdoom (a main port which you may need for some of thses), it improves the music of Doom 1, Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, Final Doom Plutonia, FInal Doom Evilution

Hopefully this list will help some of you newcomers to the world of Doom Modding get aquainted with the larger, easier to install mods. I'll post more links later (If I can find any more major ones...)

Fret not Ghost, it's a good list to go through...it'll probably take me forever to go through detailed analysis of all the links. :D It all provides a commendable and efficient reference for the Doom forums.

We'll keep this thread updated as time progresses (this goes for all GF members participating in the D3 forums: please try to pitch in your 10 cents if and when you drop in here, it's much appreciated :nodding: )

Here's a few more sites:

Doom Engines:

Eternity Beta

Sound Pack:

JDSP: JDoom Sound Pack

Doom Sites:

Doom Nation

I've tried out the JDSP, and in my opinion it needs alot of work before it cam be one of the better mods out there. If you post a TC, Mod, etc, try to write a bit of a description or "review" on it. Thanks.

Hmm that just reminded me, do you know of a website where I could find the Doom/Doom 2 music? I think it's by Bobby Prince. :lookaround:

Whoops, sorry Majic, I thought you just meant music for Doom 1 or 2. Doom music by Bobby Prince is here . If you want to buy it, I think it may only be available there....
