I had an idea the other day while playing on the server as a miner. Would it be possible for the miner to use his match to light up say a dark corridor. A human torch so to speak. I think it would be pretty cool and would also save on having to brighten sections of maps up. The miner would be of more use then as well.
Interesting.... It might work... I've been looking at giving the minor a grappling hook for a weapon and tool...
It's a nasty weapon if used right... as you can pin someone down and slowly crush them as you climb up the rope... Plus then the minor can get places other people can't.
But it might make hacienda and beach unfair... dunno....
That would be very cool to have a torch. However, you're talking Doom3 technology, not Q3 anymore. :)

Never underestimate the power of the Hewster. ;)
id got an idea on CTF , since now its based on taking poles and not on actually taking a flag like in q3 or other CTF games making 2 bases (mirror of mine ETC) (grapple) and bringing the flag to the other base :) banditos base and an a cowboys base :)
just a thought
well the only drawback I can see a minors lighting up the way is this, if you've a gunmen at the end of that 'dark corodor' then the dude with the light (and those near him) are kind of at the mercy of the gunman.
It adds more realism and those who put the team in danger with that will learn very quickly that if they continue that, they will get mowed down. I guess that could only be good for people who are looking for trouble by getting their team killed on purpose...:uhm:
Snake, I wasn't saying Hewster couldn't do it. There is dynamic lighting in Wolf, even though most players have it turned off. The system requirements for WildWest would no doubt go up.

Um, I didn't mean it that way, I was kind of making a little joke. Sorry.
