This is a thread of the easter egg I have found. The easter egg i am referring too has more then just one of its kind. The easter egg is on some reflecting surfaces it will not reflect the room around it, it will reflect rooms that arn't even in doom. Example below was taken in the first mars city in the receptionist's office (guy who gives pda).
Sorry this piece of crap wont let me post the picture... give me a second http://us.share.geocities.com/runescapegamerules/untitled.bmp">
Sorry the geocities link doesn't allow much, here in a new link:
you can download it from that and there are many other's like that. I mean like if you look into one of the zombie guards with the helm's on, you look into a reflection and it shows a room that doesn't exist.
I have two tips for you when it comes to posting images:
1. Save your image as a .jpg (you can do it with any image-editing program, MSPaint for example) or save it as a .png (You'll need another program for that, like Photoshop or XNView) 2. Upload your pictures at imageshack.us and copy the link to that image inside the image tags:
Here are your images (Inside spoiler tags since they are quite large):
I have found many secret rooms only accessible via small screens into many levels that some of them are very hard to find...
For example have anyone found the secret room in the first Communications level and also in the Mars exterior...
More Easter Eggs...
Where can you now go pressing this buttons in MC_Underground level...
sorry but i don't see the easter eggs in those.
And in case people don't see the easter egg in mine the easter egg is that it shows secret rooms that are unaccessible to us in the some reflections.
Those reflections are just thrown on because they didnt actually get the lens to reflect. Its a cheap way of imitating a reflection without a performance drop is all, it isnt a secret room or an easter egg.
I'm not so sure, the reflections (that I can see here, some are too dark) of the rooms seem quite different from the surrounding area.
It would be an ID thing like in the original Doom to have lots of secret rooms. There's probably hidden switches somewhere, maybe.
