Not sure why my first post was deleted, think I pissed of some admin or something because I got it early. I did purchase my copy, gamestop had them early.

Game runs smooth on a Radeon 9800 pro, 2 gig processor and 512 mb RAM. Running High quality and 800 x 600 resolution, just hiccups when you open a door to large room.

Most people, most hardcore gamers can get the game today if anyone has time to read this thread in doing so and take a break from playing.

If you have any questions about the game, I can answer. I like to give my take on things which is why I write lengthy somtimes. I can answer just about any question you have.

Spoiler alert, No story line here just game play and opinions on some things. Like difficulty, level size, monsters, and some tips

Spoiler: Show

If you?re still with me great, if not then you?ll find out soon enough.

The game itself isn?t really scary, the ?I?m guna shat in muh pantz ?isn?t really true, it makes you jumpy. I could be missing out on some things without a surround sound system, I plan to get one soon.

Your flashlight is everything, being able to go to and from it to certain weapons is important. Like pulling out your shot gun against a zombie commando?s is not wise. Against Imps and those 2 headed works well. You can cipher that choice yourself

There?s a large difference between Marine and Veteran difficulties, I started on veteran, went to marine, then continued my original save on veteran when I got a lot better with how the game works, I suggest the same, Marine is just to damn easy. Ammo conservation is key on veteran, don?t waste good rounds on those slow zombies, use your flashlight.

Im not sure how many levels there are but these seem pretty large.

Monsters act semi intelligently, imps can give you a run for your money, Zombie commandoes do to, use grenades on the commandoes, strafe and fire on Imps. Just like classic doom. Those 3 face monsters everyone was talking about in fact just have 1 head 4 eyes that glow in the dark ( I think ). There Pretty weak but fast, but there mainly just a nuisance.

Lost Souls move fast, can be hard to hit, but die easily and hit hard. Thats all the monsters Ive run into.

Chain gun and plasma gun are heavy hitters, conserve the ammo, don't waste.

{Admin Edit}please do not post in white as it does not show up on some themes well. also your other threads have been deleted.{/Admin Edit}

My first impressions were actually from my friend's computer, which was recently upgraded to I believe the same specs that Nayrb initially mentioned. Yes, the game does run very smoothly on medium settings, and I spent my first moment gawking at the unparralleled, unbelievably realistic visuals, as well as the game's physics engine. And once the terror began, the game immediately took on a very dreadful feel, much like that of Resident Evil. The imminent fear can often become almost overwhelming as you proceed through the game. :uhoh:
