For your viewing pleasure, I would like to present a few animated gifs for the communtiy. Ther're kind of useless, other than to look at, and they are origonals.

The first is a little something that will make you want the game even more. It also has the offical release date.

The other is something I did out of bordeom. If you've played "Nightstalker" you'll laugh. It's actual screencaptures from nightstalker and part of a texture from the enhanced doom textures.

Good post :D . The first effectively plays the role of a promotional "e-plaque" (internet-plaque) for Doom 3 by generating a small spark of fear and an essense of intrigue :help:. Good job on the second one as well...it gives a certain appreciation to the classics, not only Doom, but also some old Atari favorites. :D

The first pic is located at UA-Corp.com, the site has been down for a long time, the second was a POTD at D3files.com, if I rember right.

Nice little bloodstain on the first Doom III wallpaper. :p And that D3 Xbox pachage is certainly not what I had expected it to look like :Puzzled: ..oh well.

I've got another one. This is a fanart boxcover by me. It's all sized up to a DVD case, so if you cut in half and print out the sides, you can have an intresting piece of fanart. All it needs is a barcode and system requirements, and raving reviews.

The frontcover backround and backcover backround are both from the hi-res Doom textures. The title is the classic D3 title, retextured to look more origional Doomish. The backcover screenshots were from the Doom Colectors' Edition D3 preview CD, which is currently housed in my case. Finally, the idea of doing this is thanks to the "hoax hardcopy" photo.

This is it. Really. ;)

Indeed, nice work Lieutenant. I especially admire the firey sky you put together on the back side.

And I should add, I think that id Software (or whoever has the responsibility of designing the box art for the final retail copy of the game) should have used THIS style for the Doom 3 logo, attachment.php?attachmentid=9400&stc=1

instead of this one. attachment.php?attachmentid=9401&stc=1

I think that the take the little 3 off the second logo and replace it with a metalic roman nemural so it looks more like the origional ones. They are both remencient of the origional logos, but both are different in their own way.

Okay, here's a few more pics. They're homemade minus the symbol, which was a screencapture, and the first one is the Tei Tenga base, which was Mars's moon that the first one took place on. The other two are the places that "Final Doom" took place on.

I just prefer the first one.

And very nice job on your latest D3 artworks :nodding:

Since I have the base, I can change the backround pic to anything, and make it say anything. ;) So, here's my latest work.
