When you encounter the two Hellknights for the first time in the transporter, with Betruger watching, is the guy that comes out of the teleporter before the Hellknights actually Simon Garlick? You know, the PDA you find in hell. Maybe it was him? Just wondering...
No, because I think there was a skeleton by the PDA.
Curious question. Could it really be him? I'll take a look on the .pk4 regarding that level, if there's anything mentioning his name on a file.
I would die without GF

That is indeed a good question, Nemesis, but I rather doubt that probability that it is him. It was very likely none other than some random UAC excavator who managed to make his way out as Betruger activated the portal.
Well, you might be right... but from where in hell was the teleport activated? Anyway, I still think there is a posibility, listen to his voice. It is relative to the one on Simon Garlick's PDA. Also, when he comes out the teleporter, he doesn't really look fine - He kind of fumbles around, like he's seen a lot of things from where he came from. The reason I'm thinking of this is because, well, "Simon Garlick" is actually the webmaster of NZgames.com , and also a good friend of ID. So what better way to amuse him than having himself getting thrown into a wall by a hellknight? :) So maybe there's a connection? Just connecting the dots - Remember the first armed marine you meet? Sure you do, S. Holmes at the Marine headquarters entrance. You meet him later, too. When all hell has broken loose and you're near the marine headquarters, you see him get strangled by a zombie. If you noclip to the location where the marine stands before the sequence is played, you can see that the marine's name is "S. Holmes". Once again, just theorizing.
