Finally fought my way through Doom3 (better late than neverduh.gif) and I must say, it was an amazing ride. As a 'tribute' to this whole experience I threw together some of the best pieces in a little movie.

For those still playing through SP, no-go!(spoiler-parade razz.gif) All others: http://users.telenet.be/trigger/D%b3_0LowQ.rar

Original movie file is 160mb, but since I have nowhere to host it, this file is LowQuality=50mb. Nevertheless HF!beer.gif

This movie is VERY good. I really liked it. The only negative thing, in my opinion, is that Chemical Brothers song...just doesn't fit in the Doom universe. Very good, man. Congratulations.

That was positively magnificent Trigger, undoubtedly one of the most thoughtful projects that I've seen put together as a tribute to Doom 3. Even though the music was not necessarily ideal for the genre, I still felt myself drawn in and completely immersed. Phenomonal job. ;)

Nice job man, but what quality is that under? I can see no gun ammo numbers!

Anyways, the movie is quite smooth and that atferbirth song remix is quite cool.

I mean not to inflame your frusteration or disappointment, but it is indeed quite good. Very well put together. :nodding:

For those who can't get it running: Should normally work under Windows Media player, maybe try updating it. Otherwise powerDvD does the job well too. As a last attempt (if you have XP), import the file in Movie Maker and put it back together. @420: Readme :nodding: (original recordings @ 1024, Med Detail, Adv options on, v-sync off, 2xAA) Only rests me to say: Thanks very much guys! :)

EDIT: reading through this thread: http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?t=125281 I would like to ask if there's nobody who can also help me to get the 160mb file on D3files? Can easily ulpoad it with smartftp. It would be a joy, 'cos it's annoying to have made a high res movie, and all I can offer you guys is this 'toned down' version. :lookaround:
