in original doom and wolf3d you beat a level and it tells you your percentage and the secrets you missed. will doom3 have a sequence like FMV to next level or a cheese job like that... o and will there be "secret rooms"?
It is difficult to say, but I doubt it. There will be a much more sensible way how you exit a level, not simply through the act of walking into a miniscule room and flipping a switch. You may exit through an elevator of some sort, or simply by moving onto a further area by way of foot.
also wondering if there will be easter eggs? possible wolf levels? or modders working on it?
I just hope the Levels aren't as large as they were in doom 2. It took me forever to beat a level just because I missed one door. Took me like an hour just to find the door that would take me out of the level.
ah, but thats the fun of it oompa ;)
i just finished some ultimate doom levels earlier and some of them are more confusing than DOOM II
/me shudders at fake exist suprise on the 'halls of the damned' level
Hmm, I suppose that unless Doom 3's levels are remotely linear, the path structures should pose somewhat of a challenge to finding the exit, or the move-on point. :lookaround:
Its probably going to be hard sometimes in some leves to find doors and stuff cause its dark, but thats the fun of it cause u can go around exploring everything and killing demons and zombies.
Quite right, and you will not be reuired to press a use key in front of a surface which you are unsure about whether it is a door when it has no clearance control panel off to the side; approach it, and it shall automatically open.
