What's up with that anyway? I've seen other games use this format for screenshots too. WHY? Is there some reason that they can't be saved as JPG's? I shouldn't have to download a special program like Wavel Pic2Pic just to view a f*cking file.

Agreed. Although can't you view them in paint? I know I can view TGAs and I don't have a special program...can't quite remember how i did it, think it might have been opening it in paint though. [EDIT] Ok, sorry, I was wrong, if u give me the tga i will find out how i did it... [EDIT]

You must have some other program, because paint does not support TGA files. Or maybe you have a newer version of paint, but I don't want to go check versions and all that stuff.

Wavel Pic2Pic actually converts them into JPG's. http://www.wavelsoftware.com/pic2pic.htm

I suggest infranview, You can find a DL link here.

http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/3000-2192-10021962.html

It's very very useful. It supports all major extensions, doubles as a converter and image viewer. Extremely easy conversion. Simply open the image, and then select "save as", and then your new extension.

Quicktime can open TGA files just fine.
