I would die without GF

Indeed Christ.
"100 posts saying it's too dark? Well...now that I think about it, it is pretty dark..."
Well yeah. It's supposed to be dark. It would be pretty lame if it was all brightly lit up with fluorescent lights and sunlight streaming through every window, with the landscape of Mars being all covered with pretty flowers and grass with a blue sky. What the f*ck were they expecting? And they complain about not being able to use a flashlight and gun at the same time. So what? Never bothered me any. It takes all of two seconds and one press of a button to switch back to your last weapon. Besides, there is a mod that fixes that anyway. Same for the gibbing thing. There is a mod that fixes that too.
Altough the mod won't let you finish the game...but that's a minor setback, right? :)
What are you talking about? I used the Ungibbable mod and I finished the game just fine. Never tested the flashlight mod.
Uh...I read somewhere that the ungibbable mod prevented...
Hey, that sig is way better. :p
Nah...they still do. You just have to run around for a bit until they respawn.
Oooooh. So that's the first mod I'm gonna get. :) Then I'll look for some more realistic decal mod.
Yeah, ive been looking for a good decal mod too...
RottingChristI agree with that as well. I seriously wonder what people were expecting when they heard the words Doom and 3 before the release. An intense heart-wrenching tale? Dramatic storylines out of a Final Fantasy game? Tactical combat ala *Insert Tom Clancy game here*? Seriously. It's Doom.
i love the way you put that. i'm not sure what it is about how you put it, but i love it.
CyberRaptorPeople complain that it is too simplisitic, or straightforward, etc. What they don't realize is that's what makes it DOOM! It's not supposed to be complicated or have a detailed plot, or whatever stupid expectation some of these people have. Quoting from the manual of the original Doom, it is an "action-oriented slugathon" and that is EXACTLY what Doom 3 is. Which makes it the perfect sequel. It brought back the old weapons and most of your favorite monsters. People who were disappointed by it obviously have the wrong idea about what a Doom game is, and is not, supposed to be.
Yep. Exactly. People nowadays are too used to FPSs that have enourmous complicated and detailed features and such, and hate Doom 3 because it doesn't have anything really special like other FPSs have. People, this is how Doom games play.
