i remember playing a while ago, and i came up to a pc to call in reinforcments from earth because the marine on my radio told me too.. but some @#$%& came up on the screen and told me not to do it because the aliens would go back to earth on the ships.. so then the computer gave me 2 choices: send transmission, or cancel.. what would happen if i canceled?? just wondering im really interested.. i dont believe anything would change but still i wonder what happens.. also a question: how much of the game did i beat of im in recycling sector 2.. after the level u encounter revenants?? i just started that recycling 2 level and there was a comp with the mad doctor speaking to me
if you call back up this will happen.... when you reach monorail level the commandos will come in because "the demons got to them" .
if you are in recycling sector 2 there is still plenty of the game left to play, so dont worry about finishing it too soon. I wondered what difference the choice would make so i played through it twice to find out, the problem being i could remember what had happened the first time so it was a bit pointless in the end. Ah well, at least i've finished it and it isnt even out in my country until Friday the 13th.
nono i meant if u DONT call them.. u press cancel.. i reached monorail.. didnt hear anything about the marines tho.. im confused.. which option did u pick??
so what happens if u press cancel?? i just wonna go to hell.. im tired of the station.. it looks the same evrywhere.. whaaa... at least i was introduced to toxic waste
First off i chose the option to call for reinforcements, then the second time i played i chose not to. I didnt notice any difference in the gameplay other than listening to Betruger on the screen saying somethimg about him calling the ships himself so the fact that i hadnt done it didnt matter, he was still going to eat my soul.
now why did he call the ships?? oh because he wanted the aliens to invade earth.. i hate it so much when games try to make u feel like the choice u make in the given situation matters, but really it doesnt matter.. i hate that..
are you liking the game tho? thats all that really matters right
i like it it gets repetative i wonna leave the mars station already it looks the same evrywhere... but i just hate how when u meet alive survaivors they can only say like 3 things.. they just dont seem alive.. its anoying.. and the doom 3 guy doesnt talk its even more anoying.. it just feels u cant really interact with anyone...
I would die without GF

I can understand where you are coming from, slauter. However, the lack of interation involving the marine is with good purpose: human interaction brings comfort, and id Software wanted to minimize that...therefore, I would say you are lucky that you even encounter any sane survivors who talk to you at all!
