Since the Doom 3 demo doesn't come with a mod chooser in the main menu, I can't load mods. Since a lot of demos are picky, I can't alter the shortcut to run the game with a path and I can't run it through a command line. So I'm still wondering if there's some kind of way to get mods to work with the demo (the gravity gun spcifically). That way I can hold off until Christmas :)

Unless these mods are specifically meant to be playable with the demo, they most likely aren't going to work. The demo and full game are too different for them to be interchangeable for the most part.

by specifically do you mean an official mod? or do you mean a mod a person makes that somehow works with the demo. and if it is possible to have a demo-specific mod, then how would one go about changing a mod to work with the demo?
