Ok, some of you that use AsE (All seeing Eye) to join WildWest servers, may have noticed that it will use your Wolf configurations rather than you're WildWest ones:(
To make AsE use your WildWest configs, follow this procedure:
Run AsE, and click on the WildWest folder.. a menu will appear; select "Custom config".
A window will open, in the text box labelled "cmd line" enter the following: "+set fs_game WildWest" without the quotes now click the "browse" button, and find your "WolfMP.exe" in your RtCW install folder. Finally click "OK" and you're done... now when you join a WildWest server, AsE will use your WildWest config's rather than your Wolf ones :D
btw, those who don't know what AsE is, it's a game server browser, which you can use for searching for servers for many games: http://www.udpsoft.com/eye2/index.html You can register the program, which will give you added functionality, however, I have used it for nearly a year for simply browsing & the trial has never run out, you will simply get a message every 7 days asking if you would like to register, I just say no, I wana keep on trying it out :)

ok, so this doesn't seem to work as described any more !!! I have also added some code in the 1.5 release which will load your WildWest configs for you, however unless you follow the instructions below, it will load the map twice before you can join. Soo please follow these instructions: Run AsE, and Right click on the WildWest folder.. a menu will appear; select "Custom config".
A window will open, in the text box labelled "cmd line" click "browse", and find your "WolfMP.exe" in your RtCW install folder, select it and click "open" You will see the path to your "WolfMP.exe" in the text box, now put your cursor at the end of this line, after the quotation maks, and enter the following: "+set fs_game WildWest" without the quotes Finally click "OK" and you're done... now when you join a WildWest server, AsE will use your WildWest config's striaght away rather than having to load the map twice. That should look something like this....
The ~1 stuff is a bit old fashioned but it will work for all standard installation directories.
Enjoy!
Actually Queeg, that is the original way I did it, however this doesn't work anymore !, You should add the fs_game to the end of the path line.. like so:
