Well after days of trying everything I can think of I'm stuck. My problem is when I try to play Wild West, after a few minutes my game freezes and reboot's my pc. I have tried everything from drivers to installing the mod and the rtcw game in different orders. I have recently replaced my motherboard with a new Giga-byte GA7-VAXP and done a fresh install of windows xp pro. I'm still using my orginal ATI Radeon 8500 64meg ddr video card and everything else is what I ran on my old motherboard. The strange thing is though all my other games work without any problems, including CS, Soldier of Fortune 2, etc. None of these games cause any problems at all. I was wondering if anyone else was suffering the same problems as myself and if so have they managed to cure the problem. It only seems to effect Wild West and the RTCW game. Oh and by the way i'm not running the 1.14 patch.
Wish I could help ya Angle Eyes,
But I would suspect, since it worked fine before, it may be somthing to do with your new Motherboard ?
I dunno about Gigabit boards, but Asus have updates for their AGP drivers that often don't come with the CD on new boards..
Have you got your Mobo's latest chipset drivers ?
Like I said sorry I can't offer any other help.
