dose anyone know how to re-origin or change the positions of the playerview weapon models; I think the original ones are terrable I know that you can do it with the three cvars (g_gunx, g_guny, g_gunx) but you can't place them in the .def weapon files, I know there are tags that you can use inside the .def files to do this. If they may already be in the .def files already in there, could somone tell me what they are? thanks in advance for any help...

Very easy. Open weapon_*weapon name*.def file and find the line: model viewmodel_pistol { mesh models/md5/weapons/pistol_view/viewpistol.md5mesh

Add the line: offset ( 0 0 0 ) under it. First controls foward and backward positioning, second lef and right and the last up and down. I've already modded the positions for my mod, Doom 3: Mind-Killer. It should be posted online very soon.
