Just a thought here... please don't be offended... Maybe you should release 1.4 b1 as 1.4 with the original maps... to get the juices flowing again amoung your playing public... It sounds like there's a bunch of more stuff on the way that would make a good 1.5/2.0 AND they are even bigger changes than what has already proven to be stable code. Really these new changes sound like they should have an extended testing period which really could put the full release months off... Like I said just a thought...

I agree, because every time I play I see people try to join LoneWolf. If they get turned off and never come back.....

I hear ya, and its been on my mind how I can do an intermediate release... I'm happy to use the 1.4 beta code, as it does seem pretty stable :) but I must re-compile / fix some bugs in Hacienda, and since the re-worked town is 95% done, I want to include that too. Also I want Mine to be brigtened up.. its just too dark without players messing with their settings.

I have ensured that the latest compile of town looks perfect with default graphics settings, which is of course the ideal :)

so to sumise, I just need to re-compile Hacienda & mine & we'll be ready to go beta2 (with BattleCreek :) ) a good test and we can go public baby.

I'll leave the new animations / locational damage / other stuff for RtWW or WW2 along with new menu's too.

Awesome, and Battlecreek is coming along good. I moved the sheriff's office further from the bandit spawn, and the city hall closer. I think it'll move the action from the sheriff's to the church, which is more suited for large showdowns. I just have to tinker with lighting a bit, and make a new Battlecreek sign.
