Whenever I have bump mapping turned on, some textures and model faces are corrupted. Here's a picture:

Also, Doom 3 crashes to the desktop whenever I get to the point where the the demonic invasion begins. If I look down to the ground, it doesn't crash. I was wondering why this was happening. Too intensive for my computer?

Specs:

Intel Pentium 4 3GHZ ASUS P4P800S GeForce FX5200 512meg RAM Windows XP

I'm not overclocking anything and have the latest drivers for my video card.

Well I don't think so. The GeForce FX5200 is a crappy card (I'm sorry to say this), I've got one myself and I need to run everything on low and on 640x480 px to get Doom3 running on a good FPS. I'm planning to get a Radeon 9800PRO. Maybe you should as well. btw: All GF 5*** cards are not that good. The GF 6*** are way better (but more expensive)

Yeah I have an Ati Radeon 9800 pro with my old Nvidia gforce 4 (don't laugh) I took on d3 and it had lot's of corruption but touchwood it never crashed:lookaround:. Maybe it is your graphic drivers.
