Ok so I have been downloading modifications for Doom 3, and I have them stored in a folder. But what I have been told to do is to extract them into the Doom 3 Directory on my hard drive. Only problem is, I dont know where that directory is, I didnt even know it existed on my hard drive and thought it was only on the cd. I've been repeatedly trying to messw ith the CD's preferences in order to change it so that its not read-only so that I could paste the Mod's into it. But that doesnt work haha. Can anyone help me find out what needs to be done in order for my .pk4 mod files to be placed in the right foldeR? I need help finding it. Help is greatly appreciated. -Doomster

Just do a search for doom 3 in my computers look at the folder that contains the icon that launchs doom and your set right there just make a folder with the mods name and drag the mod in. The next time you play just go to Mods and you should see doom 3 + the folders you made with the mods in it. But that only lets you use one mod at a time to use more then one at once drag more then one mod into one folder.

Ok awesome, I found it. I went into the bass folder. And I extracted a 3 different Mods into the base folder. What I didnt know was that winzip extracted the individual files from each mod and just through them in there. So what I did was in the base folder, I created a folder called Mods, and then Created 3 more inside the Mods folder. Bass(Mod1), Nitro(Mod2), and Ducktape(Mod3). I started up Doom 3 and went into the mods section to upload a mod, and there was nothing to select. Whats up? Did they automatically load or something?

Ok update, The ducktape Mod worked without me having to load it. But the Nitro mod inwhich the gore is increased and where the bodies stay on the ground didnt work. But I still didnt see it where you said I would have to manually load it. How do I do this?

Weirdness you should of had a new folder in mods section in dooms main menu. But some mods you just copy and paste intp the dooms directory like this: C:\Program Files\Doom 3\base and your set (check the read me's) But heres some screen shots that I hope clears some things up. attachment.php?attachmentid=15765&stc=1 You can put more then one mod per folder you make depending on the mod attachment.php?attachmentid=15766&stc=1
