Please someone help me..there has to be a way to maybe make my computer think it is XP? or a way to edit the isntaller to force install? Please help guys. Regards, Joe.

it might need some service packs. try downloading the service packs then try agian.

i dont know there probly is some diff beetween your os and xp. after all if its called server 03, so whenever somthing asks for the os name it probly would say win server.

Why the hell did you get windows 2003 server...? XP Pro is all you will ever need. But to answer your question the box says "version of Microsoft windows XP, or 2000"!

You should install xp/2000... Server 2003 is designed to run networks not games. If this is the only computer you have then you should do a dual boot system Server2003/XP...:smokin:

You can easily manually install DOOM 3 on Sever 2003 and the game will actually perform better on Server 2003 then XP or 2000...

All you need to do is creat a directory /DOOM 3 (where ever you want it, create a base directory /base, then copy the PK4 files to the /base directory and the exe to your /DOOM 3 directory.

Running the game will then create all the config files etc. ..
