i have a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 (microsoft corporation) and i have more than 2.2 gigabytes of free uncompressed hard drive space and when i press play on the doom screen after i put in disc one a screen comes up saying that there has been an error during initialization. and then on and on about other stuff but ill paste the exact text. I had that.

I installed DooM 3 on my Pc, then put the DooM 3 Patch on. Then I was upgrading my pc so i formated my C:, and left DooM 3 On my D: Which i didnt format. When i installed it again i forgot to install the patch and got that error.

Try putting the latest patch on!

Ill try that but im not quite sure if it works yet so is the lastest patch of doom 3 1.1? please tell me if im wrong.

A video card with 8MB of memory has no chance of running Doom 3.

The GeForce 2 is not supported in Doom 3. You should get a GeForce 3 or higher. Sorry.

K, ive played doom3 on this computer before and i still had a GeForece2 MX/MX 400 (microsoft.) and it worked pretty good. So im not quite sure what the problem is._help.gif
