Hello,

I made a vote for Train robbry, I think it would be great, and I am not the only one who thinks this, take a look at the results..

Is there a mapper working on this idea ? I would really like to play this map when it is completed.

El Paso sounds great becouse it could become a real action map and with some trees and bushes to hide on a huge cliff next to the city it would become the best map

I'd like ElPaso for the winding narrow streets and sun-bleached buildings with chillis hanging on the walls. Could allow for some great battles across rooftops and through passages etc etc.

And it's technically much easier than Train Robbery!!

I voted Train Robbery. That would be an awesome map!

I also think the Paddle Boat map would be cool too.

The available maps are awesome, as are the new ideas, but how about maps based on historic events like OK Corral and the Alamo?

Alamo? You bet! Historically, it wasn't really Banditos and Cowboys, but the setting and possibilities for a map may be there. I have been collecting some data and topography maps for the actual Alamo site, and have been pondering this as maybe a new mapping project. The popular incident that occured at the Alamo, most certainly involved the Mexican army and a group of Texas defenders consisting of Texas militia, frontiersmen (Daniel Boone, Davey Crockett), regular citizens, and very likely Mexicans who were disgruntled with the actions of Santa Anna and the Mexican government. Beyond this, I hesitate to get involved in "actually" how the whole incident went down. (Too many historical revisionists out there).

The scene itself might be fun to replicate, at least for the most part. I guess we could take the liberty to imagine that the WildWest characters could have a "shoot out" within the battle scarred remains of the Alamo, (circa 1836?).
