Just a question. You said patch 1.3, What version of LMS are you using? LMS 3.5-4.0 were created for Doom3's 1.31 patch.

i have lms 4 but i fixed th eproblem so no worries anymore it took soome time but i made a script from the terminal.

here are the directions

I wrote a little shellscript which I named startlms4.sh

#!/bin/sh exec /Applications/doom3/Doom3.app/Contents/MacOS/Doom\ 3 +set fs_game lms4

and placed it into the same directory as Doom3.app

as you can see I renamed "Doom 3.app" to "Doom3.app" but that was only because I din't know how to handle a space within a path-name. (Later I figured out that you can use space simply by adding a backslash in front of it but didn't change the application's name back) the path of Doom 3 has to point directly to the program within the Doom3.app - packaage (which is Contents/MacOs/Doom 3 - here I din't change the name and used the backsalsh) the +set command tells Doom 3 to directly start lms4 (The directory has to be in the same directory as the Doom3.app - package in my case that is /Applications/doom3/)

Now when you start the apple terminal enter the following commands:

cd /Applications/doom3 sh startlms4.sh

that's it. the cd command changes to the directory where the script lies. If your folders are somewhere else you can also drag the folder to the terminal... the command sh startlms4.sh starts the shellscript.
