Ok well assuming you want software, there no free 3d animating software out there..If you ate truly serious about making t his i would go out and by 3d max....

there is another way to get 3ds max if u get my drift... say hypertheticly sum1 found a crak for the demo of 3ds max they mite hypertheticly be able to have a full version of it for free... if any1 finds a crack dont be shy to post it yea...:rolleyes: i payed for the full version on my old comp but i lost the registration key and now i cant use it on my new comp :bawl:

Well if id payed £3000 for a software package i would contact autodesk give them your details and explain what you lost , they can issue you a new activation key.

Gmax is free , its basically a cut version of 3ds max , and ive been told its possible to make models in this then import them into 3ds max ( if you get 3ds max on the trial version etc. ) then get them ingame .

But realistically its not practical to do it this way , you really need 3dsmax to create models animate them then export them into danw of war.

There is a student version of max you could look into which i believe costs £200-300 that could be your best option.

If you honestly plan to model something, I'd get gmax. And once done, get someone who was 3d max - enough in the community - to be as nice as to port it over.

Sketch Up is also a good tool to use for training, its basic but it gets the job done.
