Hey guys, Im a recent college grad who is currently looking for work. As such, I have alot of free time on my hands. So, in order to not lose my programming skills in a pit of boredom, I decided to help anyone in a any mod they want. Im studying up on my lua and need to know, are the new dow tools for dark crusade coming out soon or should I just download the ones now and work on those? mmmmm Beer

I don't suppose you're a Battletech fan? I'm thinking about making a mod of it, but I haven't even peeked at the files within DoW yet.

Truthfully, I don't even know if I'll actually start the mod. From just looking in-game, it has a lot of complicated aspects as far as the 3D modeling goes. It even appears to have cloth physics for things such as the flags and capes. I've only made a few models to see about how complicated it would be to make some walking mechs and infantry and I still haven't quite perfected what I have.

Sorry for not really helping you out. I'm pretty new to DoW and DC myself.

Not quite sure this belongs in the DoWForums... Better suited in the tech discussion? :moved:

Ive heard that a few very talented programmers tried making a mod that allowed players to disable parts of the tech trees of races before games and meanwhile keeping the AI intact but none of them could do it!! Do you think you would be up to the challenge?
