Ok I'm making a mod for Dawn of War: Dark Crusade. The Mod is called The Greater Good Campaign, following the TAU Army through a vigorous campaign. However, I have come to the point where I need to introduce new units and/or characters to the game. I was hopign someone could help me with:
1. What program I will need 2. How to import the *NEW* Units and/or Characters
Thanks in advance

You need 3D studio Max 7 or 8 and Dc Mod Tools 1.20 :p
always start here
Yeah I've got the 3DS Max 7 Trial version. So I've got 30 days to learn how to make decent units and actually do them! I have the DC Mod Tools, but of which do I need to use? The object editor?
Also, in my DC Folder C:\Program Files\THQ\Dark Crusade
I search around for the EBP files and I can't find anything, do I need to install Dawn of War and Winter Assault again to get them?
i recommend you start with little things first, like modifying a few values and such like
I've already done that. All I need to do is create 3 new units and insert them into the mod and I'll be half way through my MOD....
I've got the following Programs: 3DS Max 7 WHE and WHM Converter DC Mod Tools Santos Tools 0.4 (Which supposedly has all of the Models in)
I've found no EBP or WHE/WHM files throughout the Dark Crusade directory or the Santos Tools directory....
I guess I'm either going to have to do some huge file searching OR maybe I can get someone to model for the mod?
Modding for dc isn't as easy as let's say for the good old TA.
First you need a model then you need to animate it and make atextre then burn it.
Further you need all the lua's and have a fairly good understanding of the lua language.
you have to lua script the entire thing, create new build pics etc etc.
Again, I recommend you first learn the basic and alone in some little personal use module, a training mod if you will.
The same you don't plan anything to o big for your first map.
I hate being dissupportive, but that's the way it is. It's simpler to learn in little steps, then take on the marathon on the start.
THis is merely advice.
