I am wondering if its possible to move a unit from one race to another and have it work properly, or if not is it possible to make a race of Pre Heresy space marines? you know where it has Horus and the Emperor as Commanders or am I trying to make too much with one mod?

of course its possible, you can do just about anything in a mod as long as its legal and wont crash your computer, but your going to need some modding skills first. the first one is easy and requires very little effort, but the second one is a very large task and will require modelling, coding, and texturing to acomplish it. not the best first project and i think its been done already anyways. i would suggest downloading the mod tools first and then learning how to use them at the relic forums. they have a lot of turorials there.

It is possible to move units between races. Download Corsix's mod studio and learn how to use that, and take a look at the chaos vehcles thread for how to do it, only replaacing the land raider with whatever other unit and race.

The Attribute Editor would work as well. But you may be interested that there is a mod ongoing about the Horus Heresy. google Horus Heresy multiplayer mod. They have some amazing stuff going on there.

i would like to take units from a winter assualt mod, and incorporate it into soulstorm is that possible?, also thx for telling me about the multiplayer mod thats good info

Yes it is, the file info is the same. However you would need to do a little coding work to get them in there. That I am unable to help you with, but I can point you in the right direction. Good luck

actually, when i transferred the necronlord from the necron mod to soulstorm it was pretty easy as long as you match up the files in corsix or AE, its fine, just copy the whm and whe files Necron Vizier mod, Dawn of War Downloads, Dawn of War Mini-Mods
