I didn't make it!
In Halflife 2 you can extract the voice files from all the voiceovers... anyone know how to do this in DoW?

i never new it was possible. but i know you can add new voice file. i modded mine so when i summoned a daemn prince the game played otherworld(rammstein). but the directory you put the files in has no other voice files in it
i tried showing hidden files but nothing appeared. the same thing happens when i try and edit maps already in game using the map editor but it seems impossible
I remember there was a voice program that can be used to record voices and some one goes in with the voices edit them and than save them as what they need to be. But that is along time ago so I can't really remember off the top of my head of what the program is called.:confused:
we know how to make new voice files but not how to find the old ones
I belive they are with in each unit's foldier I belive under animations for the voicce product problly would end up in there.. But I am not to sure.:confused:
ive checked everywhere i can find, including there so it must be encoded in an SGA file
OK in the locale/"your language" folders there should be a sound.sga file or something like that u need to extract that one it contains all the fx noises and the voices go take a closer look ;) its how i got voices into tau mod!
edit: they're actually saved under specific headings for movement and attacks etc etc. a lot of the units draw from generic ones but others have specific, check it out and experiment but the easiest way to do so without damagin ur install is to copy and paste the entire thq/dow folder ;) have fun
