1.Hi, I'm sure you'll all agree that rushing is a stupid tactic. Legal, but it takes away the fun of the game. Anyways, I remember once that Wasturr said his maps prevented rushing through their design, and I want to make rushing harder to do in my maps too. But how? How do I make rushing hard?
2. I'm doing a 512x256, and I know that making a minimap & icon for this size is harder to do than a 512x512 or a 256x256, due to it being a rectangle and not a square... so how do I make a minimap for this size?

Im not sure there is any real way of stopping it, but as a player ([Kaos]O_dinsy]) a map without many points near the start point, and narrow entrances really makes i harder. i dont like rushing, youre right could you also pm me the link to down load it when your done, any anti rush map sounds good to me and alot of people i know
the simplest way is to make no fully straight paths going right trough the middle.
Though the problem with no rush maps is, that it gives some races just too much breathink space and you're done for afterwards
A very non rush map from the ladder is that two player ice map. I think the only one. Quest's triumph? Not sure of the name
