ive been trying to do it but for some reason they all have a slight slope or have a bump in it half way up
set value for a wall - if its not straight enough go to overlay at the top, turn on one of the grids, then go to set value level 1 and go down the wall in a straigh line to have it flat, for ramps, i usually do a stair step method with the set values, (ex. lvl 1, lvl 2, lvl 3) then go to the smoothing part of the terrain editing and smooth them together
Or if you have Photoshop or Gimp, this thread may be useful. http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=98436 All you have to do is export the hieght map and draw a square on it. Best way to do this if you have Photoshop is to use the 'select' tool (the one with the dotted lines) make a square and then use the fill tool to fill it in with what hieght value you want.
Adding onto 6's thing: If you want a ramp, use the smudge (gimp term, think it's blur in photoshop) tool to smooth the edges of where you want the ramps
r we talking about makin ramps in ME? cause im confused on what u 2 guys just said...
o nvm, LOL, it took a while to click in my brain what u guys were talkin about :)
