Just what the title says. I want to try and make battles last longer simply by increasing the health of all units. Is there a way to double or triple every units health with just 1 command instead of having to individually use the attribute editor to change them? And would this be possible on other mods, especially those with new units or races?

You could make a research that modifies the health of specific units listed. List all units and make what ever changes you want. Some units could be increased more than others if you wished. You would have to make a similar research for each race. Plus you could do this with other mods too (just for your own personal use of course). You could make 2 researches, the first doubling the health, the second adding another 50%? or any combination you wanted. Look at something like the chaos_commander_health_research_1 as a guide and add all units balanced as you want. Make sure the research is built by the AI too for each race ("race"buildbasestrategy) or it will be horribly unbalanced.

I was hoping I could just do it from the get go. Not having to research it. I can find all the units atrributes in explorer, is there a way to combine all the units health code into one script?

You could tie the modifiers to an ability maybe and give the ability to the HQ as an aura or something, so as soon as the HQ is there (i.e. start of the game) then all the health stats are affected. If you are only going to change the stats once it's probably just as easy to edit the hitpoints as a quick and easy change. You would do all the units for all races in an hour. However if you go the research/ability route it would be far quicker to change back and forth later and change values etc. Then there is the question of where do you stop? do you start altering armour and weapon values too? I know exactly what you mean though, battles don't last long enough in DC, the original W40k was best in my mind and it went downhill with just about every patch. WA was a swine to balance and DC is no better as everything just got more and more powerful. I spent hours/days balancing the old Daemonhunters mod for 1.4 and a typical test game (AI vs AI) would last around 45 mins and often over an hour. The WA version was lucky if it lasted 20 mins no matter how finely tuned the balance was. The 1.4 version was 10 times better than WA in my eyes but no IG :( Anyway this is in danger of turning into a rant so I'll wish you good luck with your modifications :D
