I'm trying to make A stronger sentinel That has more health, weapon upgrades (twin-linked heavy bolter, autocannon, ect... ) and is a seperate vehicle from the regular sentinal in the mechanized command building but I can't figure out how to use the DC mod tools. Could someone help?

we all have trouble with the mod tools so i doubt that ppl will help you. but maybe someone like wraithcat may help.

i reackon relic should have put a changable gun for the sentinel in the game in the 1st place, i think they were gonna in wa cos on one of the game manual pages i shows the sentinel with 2 guns lying on the ground next to it and the sentinel has an autocannon on it.

You're right this is relic's job, not ours. But they're not going to do it so someone has to.

the ONLY guns that the sentinal can have ( in codex imp gaurd) are the autocannon, lascannon, and multilaser, the sentinal in DC has a lascannon( which looks like a multilaser), a sentinal can NOT have a heavy bolter or twin linked anything, they are scouts, not ifantry killers. (BTW, Dinobar, it is 'for thou art crunchy and good with ketchup'

who said any thing about heavy bolters pheonix master? btw the guns on the ground were a lascannon and a flamer (or heavy flamer, i cant tell by the pic lol)

i could show you guys the page with it but i dont know how 2 add images onto FF forums so if you could tell me how, i can show you that relic probably meant to make the sentinel with 3 guns but they decided not to...

Iron deamon. dinobar said that the super sentinal should have twin-linked HB, not you. sentinals can have only one weapon. i think that instead of super sentinel the other pattern sentinals instead (AC, Armageddon pattern; HF and chainsword, catachan pattern; lascannon and multilaser{like on the chimera} cadia pattern)

To actually put things correctly, there was a high chance the sentinel would get a flamer upgrade weapon in DC. It even has it on one of the wallpapers. But it was seen as too unnecessary, IMBa whatever, thus cancelled.

But I think that the upgrade is still in there somewhere, just disabled or with some things missing.

To create a new unit itself, you need to copy all the references to it in the lua's and other files in the .sga archives.

then you can start working on the sentinel itself.
