01:01:37.24 MOD -- Fatal Data Error for squad 'data:attrib\sbps\races\guard\guard_squad_command_squad.rgd'. The squad is missing the 'squad_combat_stance_ext' which is required by the base entity 'data:attrib\ebps\races\guard\troops\guard_leaders_captain.rgd' 'combat_ext'! Looks like you need to add the squad combat ext listed in your warnings log....told you I hadn't tested it ;) I'm sure you added this to the squad before so you know how to do this. Just add that it try again. If it crashed again check out your warning logs again. Should work next time though...crosses fingers and all other dangley bits.

When you look at warning logs always look for "Fatal Data Error" first.

Just now saw your post :p. Yeah, it seems that little line makes the whole bloody game go to heck in a handbasket! I'll monkey with it tomorrow (my day off- WOOT!) It also appears that sentinels can't have more than one in a squad. Something about complex models or something.

It's late here (2:45A- EST) and for once, I'm tired as sin. So far, I've changed a little here and there. Haven't tried to add anything new yet. PM me and I'll let you know what I did.

13:08:57.71 MOD -- Fatal Data Error for squad 'data:attrib\sbps\races\guard\guard_squad_command_squad.rgd'. Squads cannot have both the 'squad_can_attach_ext' and 'squad_reinforce_ext' extensions!

Seems as though it's one or the other, not both (trying to make the command squad attachable)

Sorry, my bad with the can_attach thing....I thought I had seen this in the game and in the code but it's can_attach_receive_ext and not can_attach_ext that I had seen. :rolleyes: As for the sentinals, change GameData["combat_ext"]["complex_upgrades"] = true to GameData["combat_ext"]["complex_upgrades"] = false in the EBPS I think that's all you need to do...again from memory as I've not got time to test any of this as i go along, but that was all that was needed to make 2 farseers, that and to delete the sbps code that made it one only on the battlefield at one time, but that doesn't apply to Sentinels.

I haven't tried that other part yet (with the guardsmen as the base) again yet. But here's how the heroes are going-
