Hi all I've been looking for a while for a map maker for soulstorm but i've not been able to find one. There must be one out there as there are loads of maps to download for it. Would anyone be able to give me the link to the download for it, or tell me the location? Thanks in advance!

Generally most people get soulstorm maps by using soulstorm content in DC just for the map editor.

The problem is that to make maps for Soulstorm we have had to make a mod for DC with most of the Soulstorm files in it. That can't be released to the public since it would violate copyrights to give soulstorm content to those who may not have paid for it. Anyone who does own both DC and Soulstorm are allowed to have the map-making mod, but you just have to put it together yourself. It really isn't that hard, it just involves unpacking the sga files and removing a few trouble causers so that the map editor doesn't crash when the mod is loaded.

Speakng of mission editor, when I open mine it says:

The procedure entry point ?GetBlueprintByFile@SquadBlueprintFactory@@QBEPVBSquadBluebrint@@PBD@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library SimEngine.dll

anyone know how to fix it? Or is it just corrupted?

Is that when you first open it, when you try to open a normal map or when you try to load a Soulstorm mod map? I've seen problems like that before when I was loading mod maps and had to track down and remove some files that were making it act up. Soulstorm has a lot of things that are incompatible with DC (what the editor is made for) and they need to be removed.

Now if you get that problem with a normal DC map (no mod involved) then there could be an issue with your installation. If that is the case, has it ever worked for you before?
