...And the Imperium wouldn't care. They take people from one part of the galaxy and send them to fight on the other side of it for people they don't know. IF they survive, they might be able to settle down. But they'll never get to see their home again.

And the Imperium doesn't care about time. It's been around for ten thousand years, and it has trillions of people. So what if it looses a couple hundred sending them down in valkries ten men at a time. It has ten billion more only a few planets over.

And the Thunderhawk sucks at a warcraft. Take a look at the Thunderbolt, Lightnigh, or hell, even the Mrauder. They are completely different.

And IIRC, Thunderhawks have Anti-Grav technology, which is illegal in the Imperium. I'll try to find where it says that it has Anti-grav, and when I do i'll put it up, along with the part from Codex: Imperial Guard that says A-grav is illegal.

The Imperium doesn't particulaly care about losses. But they are very religious when it comes to technology. Land Speeders, Land Raiders, Crusaders, Thunderhawks are all used by the Adeptus Astartes and Inquisition only. Rhinos and Rhino-chassis vehicles are used by the Adeptus Astartes. Adeputs Soriitus, and Inquisition. All Non-Astartes aircraft or spacecraft fall under the jurisdiction of the Imperial Navy. Bolters are used by Space Marines and only the elite of the Imperial Guard.

Rhinos are not astartes specific. They have been in use by the Sisters of Battle as long as the SoBs have been around.

Also - Only Inquisitorial Storm Troopers can use them. Not your everyday average stormtrooper

well, this is a hot little debate, in anycase the orcs "landa" normal takes form of a roc and large meteor that they have built stuff on, to which then then plough into a planet and start attacking stuff, or they make extensive use of space hulks rebuilt, which are then also used to plough into stuff
