That's actually quite a nice idea.It would be perfect for maps with bombed out buildings and small structures, especially if you could see your units inside. It would be somewhat like an interactive cover feature. It wouldn't truly serve any purpose other than providing more heavy cover on the map,but it would look nice and add to the sense of realism.

i played shogun total war and you can place your units in forests to hide then and ambush passing enemies, that woul;d be really cool cos you wouldnt know if a squad will jump out at you at any second

I'm actually using that in the map I'm working on right now... sort of. You still leave the roof out, but go to the interior section and add walls and impass. I also added heavy cover in corners so one can technically be peeking around the corner taking pot shot with good cover. You gots ta use yo 'majineyshun. On a similar topic, is there a way to make it so the hieghtmap editor doesn't slope when you use the set level setting? Whenever I use it it brings the ground up to the specified level, but there's always a slope. Reason why it's somewhat relevant to this topic is I'm trying to construct a building and just fill itin with ground so I can use a decal to paint the "roof" like the top of a building. Only problem is the slope on the hieghtmap needs to go straight down or it pops the walls out of place.

To Sick: to avoid that, when you are placing the walls, click a button at the top. There are two buttons. One is place units 'relative to terrain' (which is the height map) and there is another one above it which says 'adjustable'. The adjustable setting means when you place the unit/wall etc. it will stay at that height when you move it to a different part of the map. It means you can have things inside hills/cliffs or just floating :nodding: hope it helps with your map. PS. Could i beta test it? Or arnt you doing that kinda thing? PM me :)

Dude, for that little piece of gold I would gladly let you test it :bows: :bows: PM me your e-mail and I'll send you a zip of the files when it's done. Can you select previously place objects and make them adjustable too?
